How does one manage to screw up the order, "Large black coffee"?
I don't often treat myself to a second cup of nature's fruit juice, coffee. But I'm sick of the local Dunkin Donuts screwing it up. This is what I'd like to do to that building, I think whoever owns it, deserves it for not training their employees, or managing their business.
Now I've got freaking cream, and even worse, sugar, screwing up my buzz. Argh!

How does one manage to screw up the order, "Large black cock"?
I don't often treat myself to a second cup of nature's fruit juice, cock. But I'm sick of the local DD screwing it up. This is what I'd like to do to that building, I think whoever owns it, deserves it for not training their employees, or managing their business.
Now I've got freaking cream, and even worse, sugar, screwing up my buzz. Argh!

People who put sugar in coffee are the worst kind of people.

'Large black coffee' is an order for a small, white coffee with added ball-scratchings. Next time try ordering a 'large black coffee, please' and see what you get.

I can't say I've had that happen...black is kinda hard to screw up. Wrong person's order?
I do find it funny when people order coffee with the unmeasured "cream and sugar" and then bitch that they didn't do it right. There's a guy here at work that orders that way, but what he really wants is half milk half coffee with like 8 tablespoons of sugar. He bitches every single day yet keeps going back to the same place and not telling them what he actually wants. He also goes online and fills out some survey thing complaining everyday. It's bizarre.

People who put anything in coffee are the worst kind of people. Right up there with people who feel the need to put fruit in beer.
Come at me, bros. I'm ready.

So, just how did they screw up the coffee? I've had some pretty dreadful gas station coffee in my travels, so bad I had to pour it out the window at 3:00 am in Alabama, when I needed it most. It was that bad.

Where are you located?
Dunkin Donuts is rooted in Boston, and therefore stupid relative to the rest of the country. If you order a regular coffee, they'll assume you want cream and sugar. You have to order a large coffee with no cream and no sugar if that's what you want.
This seems more prevalent the farther to the North and East you go, although .
The solution to this is either go South or to a different establishment.

I'm with you on fruit in beer, but a splash of whole milk (not cream) is acceptable when the coffee is shit.

That is a special kind of stupid.
Maybe wrong persons order, although it was not busy. I just need to stop going to that location. Dunkin Donuts franchises are wildly inconsistent. The one near my old workplace was great. This one is a freaking joke.

I'm in Illinois. I ordered a "large black coffee". I've found that Dunkin Donuts franchises are wildly inconsistent. The one near my old workplace was excellent, but the one near my current workplace is a freaking joke. I really just need to stop going there, they screw things up more often, than they get it right. Unfortunately, my only alternative close by, is 7-11. I'm going to have to order more k-cups, and start making it myself again.

I gave up on Starbucks. It's terrible. I actually get all my on-the-road coffee at McDonald's now. It's cheaper, it tastes better, and McDonald's is a hell of a lot easier to find.

I ordered a, "large black coffee," which they decided meant, "Put some cream, and a whole bunch of sugar in it."

Just checking. One of my favourite anecdotes is about the man who walked into a coffee shop and barked 'coffee, now' at the server. She smiled sweetly and replied 'I'm sorry, sir, we don't have any coffee now, only coffee please'. :)

Yeah, that'll do it. I ordered a coffee from McDonald's many years ago, before their drinks upgrade, and the guy said he'd have to make a fresh pot. He did, then put my cup under the basket just as it started to drip. So my cup of coffee was blacker and stronger than Grace Jones. He said, "Here you go, strong just like you like it." I had never told him how I like it, and I had to pour it out.

I don't care for McDonalds coffee. That's one I'll put some cream in, if I have to get it there. I like my coffee dark and strong. I like my coffee to punch me in the teeth.

TBH I find that 7-11's coffee is not (or at least didn't use to be) all that bad.

True, if it's fresh, their coffee is fine, especially their dark coffee. But a lot of times it's burned and nasty.
